SCOM agent terminates with error -2164195332
SCOM agent on a server fails to start and generate error -2164195332.
The event id looks like this:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Description:
The OpsMgr Health Service service terminated with service-specific error 2164195332 (0x80FF0004).
To resolve this:
-
Navigate to the SCOM install location:
C:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007\Health Service State\Health Service Store
- Delete all the files you see there. It’s the database and log files the SCOM agent maintains on the host
- Start the service and it will create the db itself

Thank this fix the issue, although i rename the health service in the first instance – didn’t worked. But your solution yes.

after did the above steps also not able to start service and displays error service-specific error code-2130771901
could please help with solution;.
