Exchange 2016 on Windows 2016: No Deal Yet

Many users complain about IIS issues in the Microsoft forum with Exchange 2016 CU3 on Windows 2016.

Microsoft MVPs reported this issue to Microsoft and customers opened the tickets.

Today Microsoft made it public to everyone that Exchange 2016 CU3 and windows 2016 are not ready yet by releasing the following blog and TechNet link.

The below text in the screenshot clearly say we are not ready yet for Exchange on Windows 2016. So please hold your deployments until you hear from us.



Again, minimum requirement to go for Exchange 2016 on windows 2016 is CU3 but there is another update coming so we will explain how to deploy Exchange 2016 on Windows 2016.

Meanwhile Microsoft has released the update on Active Directory requirement for Exchange 2016 windows 2016 which can be checked here. We will release a shortcut table on it in a different blog.

Exchange 2013 on Windows 2016 is not supported.

    Hi Prabhat. How are you?
    I just noticed that whatever you say here should have a date or its gets very confusing as to when it was said. Like the recent article about installation of exchange. You state that

    So when should we actually install and when was this said. Now its 2017 and there have been hundreds of install of exchange.
