Mapiexpection network error while move mailbox to Exchange 2010
I thought of listing this on the website since there might be someone else struggling with this issue.
A reader came to me with this issue. While attempting to move mailboxes from his Exchange 2003 server to Exchange 2010, we get an error:
“error mapiexpection network error”
I looked and wondered what’s up with this “Network error”???
This behaviour was caused by ISA server 2004. ISA has a cool feature called “RPC filter” to secure connections between server/remote server/ remote client.
I disabled this on the ISA 2004 box and tried the move and it worked fine.
