Exchange 2007 management tools installation fails on Windows 7
How to resolve:
- Install IIS 6 Management console

IIS Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration compatibility
- Goto the folder with Setup files and rght click setup.exe and Set the properties to run compatibility with Windows Vista and check the box which says “Run as administrator”.
Now run the wizard and select Custom installation option and proceed with management tools installation.

Thank you very much, the last bit about the compatibility on Windows Vista and run it as Administrator on the file itself, is not documented anywhere..
