Just to let you know the UR 8 for Exchange 2010 SP3 has just been pulled from the website as in some circumstances it causes connectivity issues with Outlook clients.

I agree. latest update will work theres no need for previous ones as the latest will fix old issues as well. now to fix cu7 do the following. goto the exchangesetup logs generated in the c directory. read through the point where it stops. you will probably find an error with creating a powershell site in iis. my error was that in iis the powershell site was already created and it couldn’t recreate it. so to fix it, do delete the powershell site under the default website list and also under the exchange website. restart cu7 and it should now have nine steps to complete. DO NOT TRY TO UNINSTALL OR RECREATE OR REPAIR – CU7 WILL DO IT FOR YOU. it will take approx. five hours or so, let it run.
it seems that that is the only hiccup it gets, if you have any more issues, let me know. if you still get stuck send me the exchange log .txt file and i’ll tell you what to do.
no reboot needed after install.
